From: shannonmccormick@hotmail.com
Time: Fri, 01-Mar-2002 16:59:00 GMT IP: 198.214.102.25

Hey, I got this email from Mr. Marty Pants. If this describes
you or someone you know, you may want to contact Mr. Pants at
Smartytown@aol.com

OK, talk to you later. Here's the email.

Hey Shannon,

Just a random question, but the Village Voice of NYC is throwing
a big circus
party for SXSW and they're looking for performers (to get paid).
Know of any
jugglers, stilt walkers, clowns, firebreathers, etc that would
be interested
in an easy, fun local gig for good pay?

Sigil activation
Okay, so i'm trying to think of ways to "activate" the sigil (that is, charge the intent symbolized with psychic energy so that it can manifest itself in the world) from the last No Shame show as part of my next No Shame piece. I've got an idea that could conceivably work...but if anyone else has any fun or interesting ideas to share, i'd love to hear them.

For more information on pop magic, sigil and just general avant garde fun, check out www.grant-morrison.com. And try to remember: it's all just a game.

Well it certainly will be a shame to not have you at No Shame... wish I could have been there for the end... but good luck in all your endeavors. Oh, and what's in Japan anyway? Besides the worst of the American music that was poular 15 years ago.

Re: Y'all missed out
Well, technically more than one No Shamer besides Mike was there unless you don't consider Courtney and Ratgirl and Elizabeth and Heather, etc *real* No Shamers.

But I know what you mean. I was planning on being there myself, but I was in shows until late and when I went over at like 1:30 it looked like everything was over. WhatÕs going on? Are you not really No Shamers but full-on Vortexians getting old or something? It seemed that last summer parties there went on until 3 in the morning at least. Maybe it was just the ass-freezing temperatures weÕve been having lately.

Anyway, drop me a line off list, Amie. LetÕs get together for a drink or something and I can contribute to the Japan Fund.

Re: Y'all missed out
Yeah, the cold was a bitch. We all left when we couldn't feel our toes any more (which was around 1:30AM--sorry we missed you, Shannon).

VORTEX people are getting old, but I think the late parties are a summer thing. It's easier to down an ice cold beer when it's 100 degrees outside.

From: lilstoogie@hotmail.com

Dear Everyone,
I can't make the new board work because it keeps saying I'm not
registered but I know I registered to vote just last week.

Amie, I'm sorry I didn't make the roast, but I was filling out
my income tax form and then I fell asleep. When I woke up there
was an episode of Cheers on that I didn't remember. So I watched
that.

Give me your address in Japan and I'll send you some American
cigarettes and deoderant.

Did I hear you write that Ratgirl was at the Roast? That can't
be. Ratgirl told me she was still in detention in the Himalayan
mountain retreat with Gore Vidal and Jobber Ratgirl.

I think maybe you are mistaken.

Anyway, that new message board is gooberish because it's
obviously something Bill Stern is just doing to be big at No
Shame now that he's gone off to the big city and can't write
ditties near as cute as General Ashcroft anyway.

Anyway, when is the next No Shame war. I'm getting bored.

Kisses,
Lil Stooge

Lil Stooge,
Please come over to the dark side (aka the much easier to
use and more aestheticly pleasing side). Its easy to register.

http://www.ezboard.com/create_join.html

Also, I submit to Ashcroft's superior talent for the musical and
poetic arts. His lyrics are to music what the spectacularly
well acted and outrageously prematurely cancled "Emeril"
show was to television sit coms.

Subj: BoardRoom: new Message Boards
From: NoShTh@aol.com
Time: Wed, 13-Mar-2002 08:55:48 GMT IP: 172.163.131.62

Althought I think we might have been able to work around
some of the problems with the new boards, I have not
figured out a way around the profanity filters, and as you
probably know, adult language is frequently relevant and
appropriate to discussions of No Shame. So for the time
being the new boards are being abandoned, and we will
resort to the old boards until such time as a suitable
replacement can be set up.

Rest assured we are, in fact, working feverishly on such a
replacement even as we speak, and hopefully it will be up
soon.

In the meantime, please note the following temporary
change in message board policy:

Any posts to these boards which are abusive, fraudulent,
libelous, spamulous or otherwise harmful, will be deleted
without comment.

In addition, any posts which do not contain a *valid email
address* and appear to be frivolous, misleading, irrelevant
or otherwise uninformative, will also be arbitrarily edited.

As always, No Shamers who *do* provide a correct email
address in their posts should feel free to be as frivolous and
irrelevant as they please. But not abusive and fraudulent.

If you feel that someone has falsely posted to this board
using your identity. (Or if YOU have posted and would like to
have your message removed for whatever reason) Simply
write to NOSHTH@AOL.COM *from your correct email
account*, stating that the message in question should be
deleted, and it will be removed at the first possible
opportunity.

My apologies for any inconvenience these recent changes
have caused you, and I hope to have the new boards up as
soon as possible.

...Jeff

Oh, my dear Stoogie, it is you who are mistaken. Ratgirl was
indeed at my Roast, and there with Big Stooge no less. In fact,
they left together, and as they had both been drinking, who
knows what happened after that. So when RG told you she was
hiding out in some mountain or whatever, maybe you should take
that with a grain of salt. And as far as Big Stooge 'hating' RG
and all that, I have to tell you that after observing their
behavior together at the Roast, you'd better take that with a
grain of salt too.

By the way, AOL blows the big one. I can't check my Hotmail.
Hope my account still works.

Jetting off in 33 hours or so,

on down to my smarty party called Soul Fantastic. It will be
an Easter bunny themed event, so break out your bunny
ears and cotton tails. The event is happening at the Le
Privilege nightclub (fancy name, not-fancy peoples) and will
involve lots of dancing and drinking and bunnies hopping. If
you'd like more info or want to get a break at the door, email

Another audience was floored by the seemingly mystical
powers of Prison Camp Party today. I did it for my arts and
performance class. Not a lot of laughs... but large mucho
clapping and noise making at the end. I think people
weren't sure if it was supposed to be funny at first. A couple
people even asked me why I wasn't majoring in Music at
that music school that's up here. Anyway, never could have
done it if the noshamers hadn't supported me in the very
beginning. Th to the izanks.

Dear Jeff,

Ratgirl used to post from ratgirlus@hotmail.com, but she can't do
that anymore because MSN closed her hotmail account for posting
objectionable material to other hotmail account holders.

So now she's at ratgirlrattus@hotmail.com. But please don't blame
her if you try to reach her at ratgirlus@hotmail.com, the address
she used to have, because it won't work anymore.

Right now I'm in a protracted legal debate with some of the
customer service representatives at MSN, so I don't know when
that address on all those postings will become valid once again.

Please excuse the invalidity of ratgirlus@hotmail.com because its
not working right now.

Thank you,
Stephanie

So i guess this last weekend's show didn't inspire everyone to

was expecting to like practically had me on the floor. ;) Lots
of comedy, lots of dance...good stuff. I don't know, i just
woke up and need to be working on a research paper so i'm not in
my most insightful mode right now so i'll come back later and
give some more in depth thoughts. But for now, just know that i

Dear the Right Reverend Hairy Nukes, my Dear Friend and Colleague,

You must embrace the evil. Hold it to your bosom and feel the
evil mesmasoaking into your clothing, your skin, your heart.

Then you must renounce your friends and family and come and live
with us, well, in our slave house.

Your attitude towards us will be much better then. And you will
laugh more, when we tell you to.

Your ever servant in evil,
