Well, I finally got off my dead ass and found the order from last
week. Here are my impressions.

1. No Shame Bingo- Howard and Jesse
I thought this was funny. The audience didn't. Am I that out
of touch??? No. It's the audience members who are wrong.
2. At the Zoo- Neil Van Gorder
Seemed funny to me. Unfortunately, I was tending to my nearly
broken nose at the time, so I missed the beginning. I liked
    the flow a lot.
3. Invisible- Bridget Eggers
Made some good points about racism. Kind of heavy handed
though, but that might just be my taste.
4. Religious Debate- Adam Lauritsen
Made some better points. Gets my vote for Best Of.
5. Win Howard Zimmerle's Money- Howard and Jesse
Now let me say once again for the record, that I had no prior
knowledge of the questions Jesse asked. It was not rigged. I
also was fully prepared to give my $5 to some deserving
audience member. Perhaps if popular demand dictates, we can do
   this again.
6. uhn...hmm...ahem...sex- Neil Van Gorder
First off, it's about time that Neil and Jesse and I weren't
carrying No Shame on our backs. It will be nice to see the
return of Luke, David, Rick, Scott and company. That said,
this was a good piece. I think the audience was uncomfortable
at times, which proves that it was a success. It didn't have
Neil's usual wit, but still cracked me up. Nice way to finish
   the show.

even though I haven't seen you, lukey, you are still part of my world.
Last night I had a dream that had you in it.
You, Stubble, and many other people all were at summer camp. From what I gathered you
regularly went to summer camp. This was my first time at summer camp so I felt out of place.
You, Stubble, and some small black kid that resembled Webster were mixing gasoline, liquid
nitrogen and some other liquid and putting it in gasoline containers that you could buy at the
snack shack in the camp. You could also by LSD at the snack shack. You guys were going to go
camping and smell the vapors to get high.
So I hope you had a great spring break. I'm looking forward to the Best of No Shame.
                    Neil

If you haven't already, take a look at Chris Stangl's (an Iowa
City No Shamer) 8 reviews of No Shame all posted on March 23.

Excellent and educational.

Hey Luke,

Remember that time we went to summer camp with that little black
kid and tripped out and mixed gasoline cocktails at the snack
shack? That was a pretty fun time.

Also, remember afterwards when you, me, and the black kid made
love to my roommate's cat while she was out of town? She found
out about that. That was pretty fun, though, too. Whatever
happened to that black kid? Didn't you make love to him too? Or
on him, rather?

Love, Aaron

Who put up 22 posters around campus, emphasizing the dorms? Who
went to the DOR and got the official stamp so said posters
wouldn't get torn down? Who is the black private dick who's a sex
machine to all of the chicks? Who is the cat who won't cop out
when there's danger all about? Who is the man who would risk his
neck for his brother man?

Shaft.

You damn right.

i just wanted to go on record before the running order went up
that i kinda knew going into it that this might not be one of my
better songs. i thought it would mildly amusing, but not bust
your gut funny. apparently, i was right. i thought it really
only had one surefire joke, and that was the one at the end that
got missed or wasn't funny or something, so i was a little
disappointed with myself for that. oh well. i'm going to bed
now, cause i'm old.
