Steev Hise--"Guitar Solo" (It was a sort of Fluxus-inspired piece. It was
called "Guitar Solo." I took the stage with a guitar case and tape player.
set down tape player and pressed play. Open guitar case as music starts.
THe music is a bunch of samples of famous guitar riffs from Hendrix,
Beatles, Wings, Sonic Youth. As music goes on, I take out guitar, hammer,
nails, and a piece of sheet music. Procede to attach sheet music to
guitar by hammering a nail thru each corner. When finished, turned off
tape player. Bowed, lights down.)
