Well, since nobody else has decided to comment on Best Of yet,
or at least not on this website, I think I'll do a little
commentin' myself.
I liked it, the whole night, each and every piece.
Except for one, of course, which was horrible.
There. Now everybody can assume I was talking about theirs.
Or maybe I didn't like two. That way, if you can already think of
another piece that went really badly, there will still be room
for you to wonder if yours was also bad enough to be hated by me.
Of course, you might also be able to think of two that weren't
as polished as they could have been and that would ruin
everything again. And, of course, it would keep going like that
no matter how many I said I didn't like...
I hated it, the whole night, each and every piece.
Except for one, of course, which was wonderful.

Thanks, Arlen. I thought my piece was pretty good, but I don't
know if I'd go so far as "wonderful." Well, sure, I guess it
was kind of wonderful. Take it easy on everybody else, though. I
think a lot of 'em show promise. They just need a little more
practice.

I was in the library typin' a message for this when two peoples
I'd never seen before walked by singing the last verse of Jamal's
"Ode to Lenny," and I thought, "Ha! That's funny! You're singing
somebody else's song, and now it's your inside joke that when
people ask you about it, you'll smile at'n each other and say,
'It's an inside joke,' and you didn't even write it. Ha! You're
stupid. You're stupid for not writing it." But maybe that was
mean of me to think. 'Cause I was telling people about it and I
wouldn't want anybody thinking that I was stupid for not writing
it. But, then again, I wasn't singing it just loud enough to be
heard by everyone in the computer lab and laughing on the
punchlines in the way that makes people who don't know any
better think I'd written it and it was my inside joke.
I guess all I'm really trying to say is that my wrists feel
like shortcake and the mayonnaise isn't as tasty as it used to be.
(audible sigh) I'm always beating around the bush

Just a couple of comments on the best of show this semester. Overall, a good evening, what "best
of" is supposed to be. I was surprised/pleased to see Aaron, Mike and Horak perform so much
that night, quite a feat for those fairly new to the show. I was alos pleased to see Gary's Rage
again, I completely forgot about that, and it was great! I heard a lot of people talking about it
afterward. And most everything else I liked a bunch too. Only drawbacks: someone either goofed
or wasn't thinking or something, and put Michael's piece about being wary of the jews right after
James Erwin's piece about being wary of Islam. Both were good, and deserving to be in best of,
but would've had a better impact if they weren't so near each other. And, just my opinion: I liked
Stangl's piece on the ideal mate, it's funny, but I personally didn't think it was his best. I was
expecting maybe comedy is funny or something. Oh, well. And my piece wasn't my best in my
mind neither, but again, whatever. Anyhow, good evening. This semester, this whole year has
been interesting. It's been fun watching everybody change, like Stangl singing and Galbraith and
Cassidy and Horak going from from beginner sketches to best of bits. I only wish we could've
seen more of Adam and Chris and Greg Mitchell (where'd he go?) So yeah. And everyone else
was way cool too. Even you, Arlen.

What are you talking about, James? www.brooks.com is WAY cooler
than www.stangl.com! All you get at www.stangl.com is one screen
and an email address! www.brooks.com has photos of their company
headquarters and everything.

However, www.hansen.com is cooler than either of those. They have
infra-structure diagrams and stuff.

Better still is www.river.com. And I'm not just saying that.
Picures of rivers are almost always cooler than pictures of
company products.

www.erwin.com is available for site construction. Go for it,
James! It's all you!

As usual, good ole mark is here to drive this concept into the ground. But, enough intro, onto the
body of my message:
If you must check out no shamer websites, you cannot pass up www.galbraith.com, with a
periodic table, or www.lawson.com, with a large lightbulb. Way cool! And of course, there's
www.burton.com, with morphing photos of winter sports. Www.greer.com is the most attractive
one, and then there's the funniest thing. If you try to go to www.bowman.com, it'll either send you
to www.hayward.com, www.stangl.com, or www.river.com.
hahahaha
