Subj: BoardRoom: Unsightly Bugles

Word up, No Shame personas. So I just moved into my brand
spanking new apartment, and apart from the branding and the
spanking it's been great. I'm in Bushwick, Brooklyn, home of the
amusing gangster wanna-bes who try to mug you on your way home
from the subway stop, not realizing that you've been at work for
the last thirteen hours and are in no mood for such foolishness,
and as a result have an extremely unpleasant experience that
causes them to tell all the other young gangster wanna-bes on
the block not to fuck with the neighborhood's only white
resident. So it's nice.
Anyway, it occurs to me that don't none of you know my new
address and phone number and whatnot. And the way I figure, you
guys should call me or write or something, on account of I miss
you like a motherfuck. So without further ado:
Dan Brooks
915 Bushwick Ave. #2
Brookslyn, NY 11221
(718) 455-25933
You can also reach the inimitable Mr. Justin Rose at that
address. Call us. We'll tell you fairy tales about the city.
Also, by the way, there is someone out there who probably should
not have my address and phone number. If you don't know who I'm
talking about, don't sweat it; it won't be an issue. But for
those of you who do, keep it in mind. Our long national
nightmare is nearly over.
Brooklynly,
Dan

Subject: RM41:: Check out Theatre.com News Story
Kelli Rae Powell (UI December 99 undergrad acting) is mentioned
in the theatre.com news story about the NY production of
EVERYTHING THAT RISES... which was a partnership in the arts show
(2 years ago, i think). Anyway, she has been recast from her
Iowa performance to do the NY one. Congrats to Kelli Rae.

I am in love with you.
But I have to take my scripts away. Because most are shoddy,
unrepresentative, consist of the same joke 30 times, and don't
have anything to do with what I've done at NST for the last two
seasons, I, Rev. Stangl, am removing all a select few of my
scripts from the electro-archive.
You have from now until Webmissy Jeff finds time to complete
this physical challenge to cut-n-paste homegame copies of these
scripts before they disappear "forever." Act out "Theodore
Roosevelt: a historical sketch" in your own home (one person
shall have to play Dan Brooks mopping up jelly and creamed corn).
All scripts will be available again later this year, in
leather-bound hardcover editions. With gold embossing... Of
your mom's ass.

Subj: BoardRoom: Live Concert!
From: brotherben@aol.com (Ben Schmidt)
Time: Thu, 31-Aug-2000 23:11:19 GMT IP: 205.188.192.37
Hello all and welcome back.
I was hoping to exploit the no shame venue for some free
publicity for a concert I'm giving on Sept. 8 . Imagine my
surprise when I found out that No Shame was not, in fact,
happening until Sept. 8th. Oh well!
SO .......
BEN SCHMIDT
Live! at The Grind --coffee house
FRIDAY sept. 8th 7:00 pm.
The Grind is located at: 89 2nd ave. in Coralville
(behind Peking Buffet on 1st ave. and "the strip")
It'd be great to see you all there. I made the gig early to
allow ample time to get to No Shame. I look forward to seeing
all the new pieces this semester.
Be well,
Ben
p.s. if you want to be on a e-mail list for my music send your
address re: "music list" to brotherben@aol.com
