BANNED FROM CAMPUS! Rare 2000 ICON Newspaper Advertisement. This ad ran one issue, quarter page, in Iowa City's now-defunct "alternative weekly" icon. It was intended to be a large flyer to be posted in residency halls and around campus. The University of Iowa rejected the poster because it featured a tiny swastika. Large white space, lower left, was to feature usual "persons with disabilities are encouraged to attend..." spiel, but was left off in printing error. ---Stangl
