After some discussion and consideration of cancelling Friday's show due to the nature of current events, the board has come to the conclusion that Friday's show will continue as scheduled.

This is not out of insensitivity to those affected by Tuesday's events, directly or indirectly. Rather, we feel it is important to provide a forum for artistic expression, especially in times of such heightened emotion.

[During the show, Neil "Balls" Campbell was bum-rushed on-stage and stripped bare-ass-and-sac by his friends, in tribute to his last week of regular performance. Some nameless neophyte NST-attendee was disturbed by this and had her parents (?...!) contact multiple U of I officials, including theatre department honchos. This led to... no consequence besides a disclaimer which is now posted outside the theatre door before each show (which was always University policy anyway). --Stangl]
