Deutschesangstlied

[Lights down.]

James: Hi. Um. I'm not a white man, but I've been asked to say a few words on their behalf.

[James holds up flashlight so his nose casts a Hitler-moustache shadow.]

[lights down.]

A translation for the German-impaired:

There is a pain in the center of my soul.
Ancient tragedy wends its way through my blood.
The gloom of a thousand forests-
The clashings of a thousand battles-
The victims of a thousand emperors scream madly in my mystic skull!
Io! Odin! Your glacier eye impales me!
Io! You southern gods who come in your hissing seductive hordes!
I am mythical.
I am the Superman.
I am more than just this measly Aryan husk.
But Lord, am I still down.
