It’s about what happens on the plane that was hijacked on September 11th–
MIKE
Too soon! It’s too soon! Do you understand me? It’s still too soon.
(Beat.)
JEFF
It’s been almost 5 years since 9-11. You don’t think people are ready to see a film that deals realistically with what happened on that day?
MIKE
I think people are perfectly capable of making up their own minds whether they’re ready to see a film about what happened on September 11th. But it’s still too soon for people to have to listen to your fucked up opinions about a film about what happened on September 11th. It’s too soon.
(Long beat. Jeff looks hurt. Long pause. Jeff gets over it.)
