NO SHAME THEME SONG

by J.J. Hickey © April 11, 2003

Once upon a time in a land far away

a princess was in tears

Her father the king and her mother the queen

said their daughter spent hadn’t laughed in years.

The ruler of a nearby land was always waging war

This made the princess sad, and so she said, "I will live no more!"

No Shame Theater

Who will save her life?

No Shame Theater

We all nee-yud-a way to save her life.

What will we do?  What will do?  Her parents they repeated

No answers came, no answers came, and it seemed they were defeated .

But then their courtly jester, sang "If life you can't endure,

Death is not the answer, it's laughter that's the cure!"

No Shame Theater

They started one that day

No Shame Theater

Once upon a time in a land not far away

(To audience) Try it....Ha!  Ha!  Ha!  Ha!  Etc.

While the audience circled endlessly to find a place to park

The princess went into her room and fastened all the locks.

The king and queen knocked on her door and said "Please let us in!

If sadness is your sickness, then laughter is your medicine."

  No Shame Theater

Made the princess laugh

No Shame Theater

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, it made her laugh

  I said,

No Shame Theater

When life's too hard to endure

No Shame Theater

Laughter is the cure

The End
